Speech Language Pathologist - PRN, Day
About the role
This position involves planning and implementing individualized speech therapy treatment programs based on principles of speech language pathology. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, designing and adjusting treatment plans, performing and interpreting assessments, and establishing patient-specific goals. The role also involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care, providing patient and family education, and documenting progress accurately. Additional duties include supervising and mentoring Clinical Fellowship Candidates, Speech Language Pathologists, students, and therapy aides, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and departmental policies, and participating in staff meetings and training.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and design individualized treatment plans
- Adjust treatment plans as needed and interpret assessment results
- Establish and track patient-specific goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Provide patient and family education
- Document progress accurately and maintain compliance with policies
- Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellowship Candidates, Speech Language Pathologists, students, and therapy aides
- Participate in staff meetings and training
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensure from the Board of SLP Examiners or SLP Compact
- BLS certification
- State-specific Intern Certificates accepted during Clinical Fellowship
