Overview

If you’re a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who wants to empower patients to achieve meaningful outcomes through compassionate and patient-centered therapy—this is it. In this role, you’ll provide speech therapy services to the adult/geriatric population, working closely with patients to improve communication, independence, safety, and overall quality of life. You’ll have the opportunity to follow patient progress over time and deliver truly patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and provide personalized speech therapy services that improve communication, cognition, swallowing function and overall quality of life
  • Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on speech, language, cognitive and swallowing rehabilitation goals
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions that support functional independence in adult and geriatric patients
  • Possess strong collaboration skills and partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs

Qualifications

  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or license eligible in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathologist program
  • Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy
  • Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults
