Speech Language Pathologist prn

About the role

Ridgeway Rehab Center, a 61-bed skilled nursing facility in Catonsville, Maryland, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to provide rehabilitation services to residents and patients. This PRN model offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and cases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance
• Facilitate the learning of skills and functions essential for communication and swallowing, to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits
• Direct activities to promote and maintain health, within the scope of practice and consistent with the Code of Ethics of the profession
• Identify need for and make referrals to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient
• Supervise CFY provisional licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards, as necessary or applicable

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly titled area consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow
• Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Pay

Competitive salary range of $55 - $60 hourly.
