Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

About the role

Be part of a dedicated therapy team with easy access to local regional management staff for support. This is a PRN position.

The Speech/Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients, in accordance with physician orders, using therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders caused by a variety of conditions. As a member of the therapy team, you will provide support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology.

Therapy services are provided in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long-Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders.
• Apply therapeutic procedures to help patients overcome disabilities from a variety of causes.
• Work as part of a therapy team to provide support and information in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Deliver therapy services in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long-Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care settings.
• Demonstrate competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment specific to speech-language pathology.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in rehabilitation (preferred).
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to provide therapy services in various settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long-Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care.
