About the role
Be part of a dedicated therapy team with easy access to local regional management staff for support. This is a PRN position.
The Speech/Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients, in accordance with physician orders, using therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders caused by a variety of conditions. As a member of the therapy team, you will provide support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology.
Therapy services are provided in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long-Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders.
- Apply therapeutic procedures to help patients overcome disabilities from a variety of causes.
- Work as part of a therapy team to provide support and information in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Deliver therapy services in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long-Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care settings.
- Demonstrate competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment specific to speech-language pathology.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in rehabilitation (preferred).
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to provide therapy services in various settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long-Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care.
