Speech Language Pathologist (PRN)
About the role
You will supervise and participate in the application of a variety of speech and cognitive therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients. Work is full time during weekdays, performed primarily at the clinic with occasional work at the residential site or in the community. Positions are available full-time, part-time, or PRN.

Responsibilities
- Examine and evaluate patients to identify communication and cognitive problems, including cognition, dysarthria, apraxia, language, dysfluency, dysphagia, and their causal or maintaining factors.
- Develop, update, and implement individualized patient treatment plans with long- and short-term goals. Treatment activities may include the Cognition Module, Attention Module, Auditory Rehabilitation Module, Echoic Store, Iconic Store, orientation, passive breathing, thermal stimulation, and others.
- Perform reporting procedures and consult with patients, families, and interdisciplinary therapists to instruct, advise, or inform them of procedures and tests.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Current licensure or eligibility to practice professional Speech Pathology in the state where practicing.
