Speech Language Pathologist- PRN- Adult Neuro Rehabilitation

For over 40 years, we've developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Responsibilities

• Treatment and evaluations of residents with speech, language, cognitive, linguistic, and swallowing disorders resulting from acquired brain injury
• Development of strategies for clients in areas of memory, language expression, speech production, pragmatics, comprehension, problem solving, conflict resolution, and swallowing disorders

Requirements

• Completion of a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and one-year experience completed with CCC from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and state licensure is required
• Experience in treatment of neurologically related physical disorders in community-based settings is strongly preferred
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time spent working in this position
• Valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Able to lift 50lbs
