About the Role

Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervises and assumes responsibility for care provided.

Responsibilities

  • Performs modalities and therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
  • Provides effective instruction to patients and families through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training.
  • Initiates, develops, and maintains collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes.
  • Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures.
  • Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.
  • Productive and efficient in daily operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Master’s Degree (Preferred)
  • Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Speech Language Pathologist License (Required)
