Speech Language Pathologist (PRN, Acute Care)

Role: A flexible PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for evaluating patients and developing personalized speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians. Services are provided across various settings, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Implement and adjust treatment plans, selecting appropriate therapy activities and providing patient and family education.Conduct patient assessments, establish and evaluate treatment goals, and develop discharge plans with input from patients and families.Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions following departmental guidelines.Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and adhere to dress codes.Promote excellent customer service using AIDET principles, fostering a positive environment and teamwork.Participate in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities. Qualifications And Skills Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist and BLS certification.Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
