Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist

About the role

ExpertCare is looking for compassionate, committed, and reliable therapists to provide one-on-one occupational, physical, and speech and language therapy services within the recipient’s home. These services support children and young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to help improve their quality of daily life. Positions are available throughout Macomb and Wayne counties for individuals referred by various Community Mental Health organizations.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available for the following roles:

• Occupational Therapists
• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants
• Physical Therapists
• Physical Therapist Assistants
• Speech-Language Pathologists

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy services in the recipient’s home.
• Work with children and young adults to improve daily life skills.

Requirements

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist by the State of Michigan.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including good communication and teamwork.
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, flexibility, and personal responsibility.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and observation skills.
