Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join their Inpatient Rehab at Mt Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital. The role involves performing evaluations, direct patient treatment, and documentation. Responsibilities include providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for individuals with various communication and swallowing disabilities, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating clients and families, and documenting patient care.

What Will You Do

  • Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals with a wide variety of communication and swallowing disabilities to help patients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
  • Provides professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff members and colleagues.
  • Documents patient care appropriately in the medical record to comply with the policies and procedures of the department.
  • Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • State of CT Speech-Language Pathology Licensure.
