Description

Trinity Health of New England is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join their mission-driven team at Mercy Medical Center. The Speech Language Pathologist will work with a comprehensive care team to identify appropriate long- and short-term goals and develop treatment plans for patients with mild-moderate cognitive deficits and other neurological disorders. This per diem position will cover acute rehab, conducting speech and swallowing assessments.

What Will You Do

  • Performs comprehensive evaluations.
  • Establishes functional goals based on evaluation results, targeting deficit areas to help patients achieve maximum functional independence.
  • Provides professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff members and colleagues.
  • Completes all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, and regulatory compliance standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • State of Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology Licensure.
