Speech Language Pathologist - Per Diem

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient’s needs and physician direction. You will be responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that allow for an effective return to community activities.

You will serve as an educator to patients, families, students, co-workers, and yourself, while coordinating treatment programs in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services, available community resources, and performing other professional duties associated with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
• Delegates and directs all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Designs functional treatment programs to facilitate an effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator to patients, families, students, co-workers, and self.
• Coordinates treatment programs with other clinical/therapeutic services and community resources.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care, development of therapy services, and program delivery.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified Clinical Specialist (CLS) or completion within the first 90 days of employment required.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
