Speech Language Pathologist - Per Diem

About the role

CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Partnership with Select Medical is a newly opened 63‑bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital located in Ozark, Missouri. The facility provides exceptional and compassionate care to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas, addressing their medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline‑specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Ensures the design of functional treatment programs that enable an effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator for patients, families, students, co‑workers, and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline‑specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.
• Coordinates treatment programs in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services and available community resources.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required. Certified CLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment required.

Preferred Qualifications: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech‑Language & Hearing Association preferred.

Pay

$52 per hour; sign‑on bonus $7,500.
