Speech-Language Pathologist – Pediatric Therapy Clinic

The Pediatric Place is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy team in Clinton, MO. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric caseload, helping children improve communication, confidence, and quality of life in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

About the Role

At The Pediatric Place, we provide comprehensive pediatric therapy services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), mental health services, and medical nutrition therapy. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will collaborate closely with therapists and healthcare professionals to deliver innovative, evidence-based care tailored to each child’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Address articulation, phonology, apraxia, and fluency disorders.
• Support children with language and communication challenges.
• Conduct AAC evaluations and assist with AAC programming when applicable.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, counselors, ABA professionals, and dietitians.
• Educate and support families throughout the therapy process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Create engaging and developmentally appropriate therapy sessions.

Requirements

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Passion for working with pediatric patients and families.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered care.
• Experience with pediatric speech and language disorders (preferred).

Pay

Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 – $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
