Requirements & Responsibilities
- 1 year of previous pediatric experience is preferred; Clinical Fellows will be considered.
- Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Active North Carolina Licensure in SLP and ASHA certification.
- Pass a Background Check.
- Accurate documentation in EMR system.
- Detailed and thorough communication with child's healthcare providers through progress reports, phone calls, and other forms of communication.
- Assess and make recommendations regarding appropriate assistive technology and/or adaptive equipment as needed.
- Acts as a supervisor for CFs and SLPAs in the clinic.
Physical Demands
- The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee is also frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to assist patients in standing/sitting; reach with hands and arms.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. is also required.
