Speech Language Pathologist Outpatient - PRN

Job Summary

Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of contract rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our supportive team. The ideal candidate will provide therapy services to residents in assisted living, independent living, outpatient, and lovely community settings.

About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors through speech-language therapy. Your role will involve treating residents Monday through Friday, no evenings or weekends, and working in either residents' rooms or an on-site outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents in assisted living, independent living, outpatient, and lovely community settings
• Provide individualized therapy sessions to enhance communication skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of residents and the clinic
• Market the clinic and promote the importance of speech-language therapy services

Requirements

• Current license as Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain in the state of practice
• Previous experience in outpatient setting preferred

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Passing scores on the Praxis II exam
• Knowledge of various communication disorders and treatment techniques

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
