About the role
This role is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Outpatient responsible for providing comprehensive speech-language services in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Re-assess progress
- Manage discharge planning
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Document patient care accurately
- Adjust care based on patient needs
- Demonstrate strong time management, flexibility, and empathy
- Engage in professional growth through continuing education, mentoring students, and supporting new staff
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completion of clinical fellowship (CFY)
- Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in relevant states
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
