Speech Language Pathologist-Neuro

About the Role

Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists for PRN positions in Temple, TX, and surrounding areas. This role involves providing truly patient-centered care for patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neuro or complex ortho diagnoses in their own homes and communities. Patients are accepted for the duration of their stay, and interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans practiced in patients' home environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of impairments including all areas of speech and language
• Evaluation and treatment of executive functioning and cognitive needs
• Evaluation and treatment of dysphagia
• Evaluation and treatment of augmentative communication needs

Qualifications

• Completion of Master's degree in Speech Pathology
• State licensure is required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA is required
• Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
• Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills are required
• Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must
