About the role

In this role you will be responsible for providing screening, evaluation, treatment, and education for those who demonstrate impairments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and/or swallowing. The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for adherence to and compliance with all American Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA) professional standards. The SLP is engaged in administration, consultation, education and research. The SLP is expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide screening, evaluation, treatment, and education for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and/or swallowing impairments.
  • Adhere to and comply with all American Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA) professional standards.
  • Engage in administration, consultation, education, and research activities.
  • Conduct oneself in an effective professional behavior manner.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency.
  • BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support).
  • Active Florida State Speech Language Pathologist Licensure.

Pay

$70,720.00 - $115,252.80 annually
