Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, directs, and treats all patients referred to speech/language.
• Provides supervision of students.
• Deals with pressure to meet deadlines, accuracy, and constantly changing situations.
• Deals with a variety of people, handles stressful situations, and handles conflict.
• Performs all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
• Adheres to all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Holds a Master’s degree from an approved college or school of speech/language pathology.
• Current State Licensure in Speech Pathology (as Speech Pathologist).
• Might work on an active temporary permit for those in their clinical fellowship year or clinical practicum and/or who are waiting to take the national examination.
• Completes this requirement within one year.
• Knowledge of principals and practice of speech pathology.
• Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique and related impact on rehabilitative medicine practice and equipment.
• Current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Non-Exempt starting wage of $37.43/hourly.
