Speech Language Pathologist - Full Time
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced SLP to join our team at one of our area clients. The ideal candidate will work with patients to improve communication and swallowing, making a significant impact on their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Conduct evaluations and progress assessments as needed
- Provide education and training to patients and families
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active State License to start the position
- BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting is preferred
