You’ll work with patients to improve communication and swallowing, making a real difference in their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Work with patients to improve communication and swallowing
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Provide individualized therapy sessions
- Document progress and communicate with referring physicians
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active State License is Required to Start the Position
- BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
