About the role

Join our talented, interdisciplinary team of therapists specializing in pediatric rehabilitation. You'll work together to create individualized plans for each child, providing comprehensive, family-centered speech language pathology services to children from birth through 21 years in our outpatient service area. With a wide range of diagnoses served, no two days will be the same.

Responsibilities

  • Administer appropriate standardized tests, screenings, informal assessments, and clinical observations.
  • Review medical, educational, social, and financial information to provide recommendations, referrals, and follow-up for each case.
  • Provide interpretation and counseling of test results to children, young adults, and caregivers, along with ongoing feedback regarding progress.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and revise therapy plans of care based on initial and ongoing assessments, as required by policy and regulation.
  • Develop individualized plans of care tailored to the needs of the child and caregiver, including appropriate frequency and duration.
  • Provide specialized pediatric treatment activities to children and young adults.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in a Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Preferred: 1+ years in clinical practice with pediatric experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
