Speech-Language Pathologist (Feeding Clinic Therapist)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our outpatient Feeding Clinic team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat children and adults with feeding and swallowing disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate families on feeding development and swallow safety. New graduates with appropriate coursework or relevant training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform feeding and swallowing evaluations and treatment interventions.
  • Develop individualized plans of care.
  • Educate patients and families on feeding development and swallow safety.
  • Provide evidence-based feeding and swallowing therapy.
  • Complete clinical documentation, billing records, and reports.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain clinic records and ensure compliance with agency policies and ASHA standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP).
  • Active Kansas SLP License in good standing.
  • Coursework or training in dysphagia/feeding disorders.
  • 2 years of experience working with children and individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of feeding development across the lifespan.
