Duties
- Assess the functional capabilities of children ages 0-3 relative to their age-appropriate milestones for potential developmental delays or developmental risk factors.
- Provide individual home-based and virtual services for a caseload of families with a wide range of racial backgrounds, cultures, religions, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity and abilities with understanding of how their life experiences may be impacted by social determinants.
- Collaborate with the family to develop goals to address the child’s development that fit into their daily routines and play.
- Teach and coach caregivers to integrate strategies into the family’s daily routines to aid in the child meeting major developmental milestones.
- Continuously assess the progress of your clients and collaboratively adjust the plan as needed.
- Consult and partner with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Nurses and Social Workers.
- Ensure that all events and documentation are completed within the program’s required timelines.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to provide own transportation to appointments.
- CPR and first aid certifications or be willing and able to become certified.
Pay
Salary range: $63,024 - $81,120 annually
