Responsibilities

  • Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient/family speech therapy needs for patients aged neonate/infant (birth to 1 year), pediatric (1-12 years), adolescent (12-18), adult (18-65 years), and geriatric (over 65 years).
  • Maintains documentation on patient treatments.
  • Evaluates, assesses, plans, and implements treatment according to the findings.
  • Adds educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers.
  • Manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and departmental operations.
  • Acts in a clinical leadership role.
  • Applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.
  • Performs other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master Degree
  • Certified Speech Language Pathology (National)
  • Must obtain Certified Speech Language Pathology (National) within 24 months of hire.
  • Speech Language Pathology (State)
  • Desired: One year speech/language pathology in a healthcare setting.
  • Doctorate Degree
