Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient/family speech therapy needs for patients aged neonate/infant (birth to 1 year), pediatric (1-12 years), adolescent (12-18), adult (18-65 years), and geriatric (over 65 years).
- Maintains documentation on patient treatments.
- Evaluates, assesses, plans, and implements treatment according to the findings.
- Adds educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers.
- Manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and departmental operations.
- Acts in a clinical leadership role.
- Applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.
- Performs other related duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Master Degree
- Certified Speech Language Pathology (National)
- Must obtain Certified Speech Language Pathology (National) within 24 months of hire.
- Speech Language Pathology (State)
- Desired: One year speech/language pathology in a healthcare setting.
- Doctorate Degree
