About the role

The position involves taking over an existing caseload of Speech-Language Pathology services.

Responsibilities

  • Work with children who have a variety of communication disorders including apraxia and phonological disorders.
  • Be skilled in working with other disciplines and evaluating speech and language skills.
  • Provide evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Communicate effectively with families to discuss progress and provide home activities.
  • Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and feeding is preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited program.
  • Licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • Current CPR certification.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in a pediatric setting.
  • Experience with working with children with communication disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills

  • Skilled in evaluating speech and language skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$60,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

3 days per week at the Angier clinic and 1-1.5 days per week at either the Fayetteville or Fuquay clinics.
