Speech Language Pathologist

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Tusculum, TN. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads
• Receive dual support from the district and TheraPeds

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
• State license as Speech-Language Pathologist
• Department of Education licensure as a SLP
• National license: ASHA licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• CF‑SLP placement may be available
• Experience working with children
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
• Physical ability to perform necessary movements (lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, engaging with students in all locations and activities)

Pay

$56.50 – $71.75+ per hour

Schedule

• Full‑time school schedule
• October 2026 – May 2027
• Serving elementary through high school population
• In‑person, on‑campus
• Guaranteed hours (including documentation, administrative and planning time)
