Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Pine, Colorado | Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year | On-Site TheraPeds Partners is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Pine, Colorado for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Details Full-time: 36-38 hours per weekSchool year: September 2026-May 2027Grades: Elementary - High SchoolSetting: On-site, in-personPay: $65-$80/hour, based on experience and employment arrangementWeekly compensation is based on 37.5 hoursGuaranteed hours, including designated documentation, planning, and administrative timeManageable caseloadSupport from both the school district and TheraPeds Partners What You'll Do As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll help students develop the speech, language, and communication skills needed to access their education and participate successfully in the school environment. Your responsibilities may include: Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students individually and in small groupsConducting speech and language evaluations and assessmentsDeveloping, implementing, and monitoring individualized IEP goalsEvaluating student progress and adjusting intervention strategies based on student needs and dataProviding consultation and support to teachers, special education staff, and familiesSupporting students with articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, social/pragmatic communication, and other communication needsSupporting students who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), as appropriateMonitoring student performance and collecting data to measure progressCompleting timely and accurate documentation and progress reportsParticipating in IEP, eligibility, reevaluation, and interdisciplinary team meetingsManaging assigned student caseloads and required documentationCollaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, therapists, administrators, and other school professionalsProviding case management services, as assigned What We're Looking For Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology programActive or eligible for Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist licensureAppropriate Colorado Department of Education certification or credential for school-based practice, as requiredASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferredClinical Fellowship (CF-SLP) candidates may be considered, with appropriate supervision availableExperience working with childrenSchool-based experience preferred, but not requiredStrong understanding of speech and language development, assessment, intervention, and progress monitoringKnowledge of the IEP process and special education servicesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational, documentation, case-management, and time-management skillsComfortable using technology for documentation, communication, assessment, and service deliveryAbility to successfully complete required fingerprinting and background clearancesAbility to work collaboratively with students, families, educators, administrators, and related-service professionalsProfessionalism, tact, discretion, and respect for student and family confidentiality Requirements Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology programState License as Speech-Language PathologistDepartment of Education Licensure as a SLPNational License: ASHA Licensing with the State Department of Education, where requiredCCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferredCF-SLP placement may be availableExperience working with childrenExperience in a school setting preferred, but not requiredOrganizational and time management skillsProficient in use of technologyFingerprint background clearanceAbility to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications Physical Requirements School-based therapy is active and hands-on. The Provider must be able to safely participate with students in a variety of school environments and activities. Physical responsibilities may include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, transitioning to and from the floor, and lifting or assisting with students, materials, or equipment as appropriate to the position.
