Job Responsibilities
Congduct Evaluations: Perform comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create and implement tailored therapy plans based on each child’s unique needs, targeting speech, language, cognitive-communication, and feeding/swallowing issues.
Provide Direct Therapy: Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy through individual or group sessions, using play-based and child-centered approaches.
Monitor Progress: Track and document patient progress through ongoing assessment, adjusting therapy goals and strategies as needed.
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with pediatricians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Support Family Education: Educate and coach parents and caregivers on strategies and exercises to reinforce therapy goals at home.
Document Clinical Notes: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, session notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
