Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out developmental screenings and assessments
  • Provide speech-language therapy services
  • Consult with family members and other professionals
  • Develop methodologies for each child's specific developmental goals
  • Coach family members and caregivers on intervention strategies
  • Facilitate active involvement and carry-over in home and community settings
  • Maintain progress reports
  • Ensure generalization of progress and caregiver participation

Requirements

  • NY Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Early Intervention Experience or equivalent experience
  • Pediatric Experience
  • Home-based service delivery experience (preferred)
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
