Speech Language Pathologist
About the role
We are seeking a full-time, part-time, and PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team at Bear Creek Senior Living in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each resident's needs and goals
- Provide therapy interventions including compensatory techniques, therapeutic exercises, and alternative communication strategies
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing management strategies
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the overall success of the rehabilitation department
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Colorado
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (required)
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Colorado (required)

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act
Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected compensation range for this position is $44.00 – $47.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
