What You’ll Do As a Speech/Language Pathologist, you’ll play an important role in helping the individuals we serve achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. Assess speech, language, communication, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities. Evaluate individuals served and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans based on their needs and goals. Provide and direct speech and language therapy using evidence-based techniques to address communication, voice, language, and swallowing challenges. Review medical records, conduct assessments, document progress, and modify treatment plans as needed. Identify functional needs and develop effective intervention strategies. Educate individuals served, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques that support continued progress and independence. Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure coordinated, quality services. Help individuals maintain and achieve their optimal level of functioning through compassionate, individualized care. Coordinate home care services and communicate effectively with individuals, families, caregivers, and other professionals. What You’ll Bring Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology, or a related field. At least 1 year of experience as a Speech/Language Pathologist. Current state licensure/certification as a Speech/Language Pathologist. Valid driver’s license in good standing. Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance. Successful completion of required local and/or state background checks. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A dependable, responsible, and compassionate approach.
