About the role

Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform modalities and therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
  • Provide effective instruction to patients and families through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training.
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes.
  • Operate productively and efficiently in daily operations.
  • Select and perform appropriate assessment procedures.
  • Establish and update formal plans of care to address individual patient needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Master’s Degree (Preferred)
  • Doctorate Degree in Speech (Accepted)
  • Speech Language Pathologist License (Required)
