Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary

Seagull Student Services is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to work with a virtual school in Arizona. Hours are not guaranteed and are likely part-time. Work involves seeing students during the school day virtually, primarily in their homes. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and familiarity with IEP Pro.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in grades K-12, primarily mild-moderate in need, many with an ASD diagnosis.
• Provide therapy sessions virtually, focusing on communication and language development.
• Collaborate with parents and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Adapt therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each student.

Requirements

• Current Arizona SLP license.
• AZ Department of Education (DOE) certification.
• AZ fingerprint card.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Strong communication skills, particularly in a virtual setting.
• Familiarity with IEP Pro software.

Benefits

• Hourly rates available for both W2 and 1099 arrangements.
• W2 rate: $60/hr.
• 1099 rate: $70/hr.
