Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• MA/MS in communication disorders or speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment: School Speech-Language Pathologist (0-21).
• District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience up to 20 years.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment: School Speech-Language Pathologist (0-21).
• At least 182 contracted work days per year.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.

Pay

• The minimum starting pay without ASHA CCC-SLP certification is $69,372/year and the maximum salary is $87,804/year.
• The minimum starting pay with ASHA CCC-SLP certification is $72,516/year and the maximum salary is $92,100/year.
• Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).

Job Description

This position is eligible for a one-time signing bonus of $2,500 payable on December 15, 2026, and a retention bonus of $2,500 after three years of employment payable on June 15, 2029.
