Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- MA/MS in communication disorders or speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment: School Speech-Language Pathologist (0-21).
- District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience up to 20 years.
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment: School Speech-Language Pathologist (0-21).
- At least 182 contracted work days per year.
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.

Pay
- The minimum starting pay without ASHA CCC-SLP certification is $69,372/year and the maximum salary is $87,804/year.
- The minimum starting pay with ASHA CCC-SLP certification is $72,516/year and the maximum salary is $92,100/year.
- Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).

Job Description
This position is eligible for a one-time signing bonus of $2,500 payable on December 15, 2026, and a retention bonus of $2,500 after three years of employment payable on June 15, 2029.
