About the role

Join us at Sandstone of Tucson as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and make a meaningful impact in patients' lives.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing
  • Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff

Requirements

  • Active Arizona SLP License or Compact License
  • Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Caregiver-oriented approach to care
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred (not required)

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Passing score on the Praxis II exam for SLPs
  • Current CPR certification

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in SLP
