Responsibilities

• Works in collaboration with the special education teacher in the formation of daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings.
• Supplies the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists to maintain a master Special Education list.
• Provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability, including resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.

Qualifications

• NCBOE Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the North Carolina State Board of Education.
• Candidates with experience working with at-risk students are preferred, if applicable to the school.
