Responsibilities

  • Deliver SLP services according to speech-language therapy principles and Reliant Rehabilitation standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff.
  • Provide patient screening and evaluation, develop and implement treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management.
  • Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program.
  • Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
  • Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment.
  • Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where licensed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication and documentation.
  • Compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where licensed.
