Responsibilities
- Deliver SLP services according to speech-language therapy principles and Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff.
- Provide patient screening and evaluation, develop and implement treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management.
- Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program.
- Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
- Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment.
- Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
- Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes.
- Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality as appropriate and ensure compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication and documentation.
- Compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
