Responsibilities
- Deliver SLP services according to speech-language therapy principles and Reliant Rehabilitation standards.
- Foster positive client and facility relationships, provide high-quality care, and manage patient screening and evaluations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, discharge plans, and case management.
- Ensure professional conduct aligns with Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to excellence and comply with regulations.
- Improve patients' communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy.
- Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program.
- Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
- Maintain a valid state license and stay updated on speech-language pathology developments and healthcare environments.
- Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
- Deliver care aligned with treatment goals and produce meaningful outcomes.
- Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English for effective communication and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with state practice acts.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.
Qualifications
