Responsibilities

  • Deliver SLP services according to speech-language therapy principles and Reliant Rehabilitation standards.
  • Foster positive client and facility relationships, provide high-quality care, and manage patient screening and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, discharge plans, and case management.
  • Ensure professional conduct aligns with Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to excellence and comply with regulations.
  • Improve patients' communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy.
  • Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program.
  • Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
  • Maintain a valid state license and stay updated on speech-language pathology developments and healthcare environments.
  • Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver care aligned with treatment goals and produce meaningful outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English for effective communication and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with state practice acts.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication and documentation.
  • Compliance with state practice acts.
