Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
- Serve as the case manager for students eligible under IDEA.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student achievement.
- Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and school-based collaboration.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility.
- Active or pending Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Professional Special Services Provider License with endorsement in School Speech-Language Pathology.
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based speech-language services.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
