Speech Language Pathologist

About the role

Full-time, in-person position based in Kingston, NY and Ellenville, NY. This is a 10-month school-year role with a 6-week summer program.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, day shift: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services according to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Evaluate students' communication skills according to NYSED, ASHA, and Medicaid guidelines.
• Conduct formal and informal assessments and develop appropriate treatment goals.
• Write annual IEP goals, benchmarks, progress reports, and quarterly updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment logs, data collection, and student progress records.
• Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to student goals.

Requirements

• NYS Speech-Language Pathology License and/or NYS Speech-Language Teaching Certificate.
• Current TSSLD Certificate required.
• Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are welcome; excellent supervision is available.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, families, and team members.
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum preferred.
• Interest in supporting children with communication and developmental needs.

Pay

Starting at $65,000 annually (based on experience and certification), including full-time summer 2027 hours.
