Speech Language Pathologist

About the role

This role is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) within a rehabilitation services team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide expert speech therapy services to patients recovering from major health events such as strokes and injuries.
• Support patients in regaining independence and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications and skills

• Strong knowledge of speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorder management.
• Ability to evaluate and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
