About the Role
We are open to considering qualified Speech-Language Pathologists as either employees or independent contractors.
Responsibilities
- Works in collaboration with the special education teacher in the formation of daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings.
- Supplies the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists so he/she can maintain a master Special Education list.
- Provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability, such as resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
Requirements
- Must hold NCBOESLPA license issued by the North Carolina State Board of Education.
- Candidates with experience working with at-risk students is preferred.
