Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive‑communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and physicians
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and strategies
- Maintain productivity and quality standards while delivering patient‑centered care
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility)
- CCC‑SLP preferred, but CFY candidates welcome to apply
- Experience in a skilled nursing or post‑acute setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
