About the role

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide goal directed speech and language services to people of all ages in LSTC’s Therapy Services Clinic. They will collaborate with the Recreation and Leisure Program and Adaptive Equipment Services (AES) team to create tools and develop applications and solutions that boost effective communication. Opportunities exist to participate in interdisciplinary teams supporting people to achieve independence in all aspects of life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide goal-directed speech and language services to individuals of all ages in LSTC’s Therapy Services Clinic.
  • Collaborate with the Recreation and Leisure Program and Adaptive Equipment Services (AES) team to create tools and develop applications and solutions that enhance effective communication.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to support people in achieving independence in various aspects of life.
  • Instruct people and support staff in implementing innovative strategies and recommendations for enhanced communication.

Requirements

  • A minimum qualification of a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Maintain or be eligible for licensure in North Dakota.
