Speech Language Pathologist

About the role

Millennium Therapy is looking to add a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to their team in Cedar Rapids, IA for the Skilled Nursing setting. Millennium Therapy is a patient-focused, therapist-owned, and therapist-managed company that provides Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy across Iowa in various settings. The local home office offers quick support to associates.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involves in clinical program development.
• Supervises other licensed speech therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Some programs may have additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
