Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive functions to determine care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Perform therapeutic interventions to improve communication, swallowing, and overall well-being.
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress and responses to treatment to supervising clinicians.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members on speech therapy techniques and strategies.
• Provide speech therapy services within legal scope, assist in developing care plans, evaluate patient functionality, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of California.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hiring.
