Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals, develop, and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one-on-one in private treatment sessions with a functional-based treatment approach

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech-language pathology
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

USD $43.00 - USD $50.00 per hour
